A slightly obstructed view of the main pool allows for privacy, but has easy access to the main pool area.

Located in Coconut grove, its patio offers a spectacular view of the Tortuga lake and surrounding areas. Since this house is located in a quieter area of the Estate, it is popular with holiday makers of all ages, having ample parking and stunning lawn makes for a fantastic holiday experience.

Barbados 13

Barbados 13, a finalist in the 2019 SA Tourism’s KZN Lilizela Awards, is a private self-catering villa situated on a sea front stand at the Caribbean Estates, Port Edward. This is a unique, secure residential estate in the lush tropical setting of KwaZulu Natal’s South Coast with 24 hour security and daily reception service. Barbados 13 is the first and only star graded Villa on the Estate and has been awarded a 4 star grading by the South African Tourism Grading Council for several years running. This is also the only Villa on the Estate with a private pool.

The villa can accommodate a maximum of 6 guests (includes children) and is comprised of 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, 2 of which are en-suite. The living area has an open-plan kitchen, dining area and lounge area. The fully equipped kitchen contains a fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, gas stove, washing machine and a tumble dryer. The dining area is equipped with a 6-seater dining room table and for your comfort in the living area and the main bedroom, flat screen TV’s with full DSTV Premium packages. Explora decoders compliment both TV installations. The outdoor patio has built-in braai facilities, as well as a 6-seater patio table. Caribbean Estates’ facilities include a swimming pool complex with 2 additional pools on the Estate, tennis courts and a small playground for children. Guests are allowed to bring their own boats or jet ski’s and private launching facilities are available at the Caribbean Estates. Although the villa is situated on a sea front stand, it is protected from direct sea wind by lush green vegetation.

The beach and river are accessible via scenic walkways through a conservation area and are within walking distance of the villa. A variety of bird species, small buck species and monkeys are found in this conservation area and can often be seen from the villa’s patio.

Caribbean Estates is 5 km South of Port Edward and is the gateway to exploring the Wild Coast. Caribbean Estates offers excellent fishing opportunities from its’s private beach area and is a mere 5-minute drive from the Wild Coast Sun Hotel and Casino where water sports, horse riding and golf are just some of the available activities.
